Efektivitas Konseling Individuan Rasional Emotif Terapi Untuk Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa


Problems in education -related activities of educating diverse students excel and become a person who is competent in various fields . Lack of confidence does not dare to make students develop the ability to optimally inside and outside the classroom . Low confidence arises because of the irrational thoughts of students against him. The purpose of this study is to determine whether a rational emotive therapy counseling can improve student confidence . This study used a single case design research methods or case studies , data collection methods used were interviews with counselees . The subjects in this study was a counselee who have low confidence. Treatment was given for 5 times to the counselee , given the observation that every meeting whether there is an increased confidence counselee . The first treatment phase of relationship building , the second phase of the
rationalization of rational emotive therapy counseling , the third stage of the development of confidence and the mind becomes more rasionaal , the fourth stage of development aid rational philosophy of life , and the fifth is the evaluation phase. From each corresponding stage researcher observations , no increase confidence counselee in terms of aspects of her ability , aspects have the potential and capability sufficient , able to adjust aspects and communicate in a variety of situations , and the latter is a calm aspect in doing things .
So after counseling treatment for 5 consecutive times , it can be concluded that the change in the counselee confidence . It shows that rational emotive therapy counseling can improve student confidence
